CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL GREASED LIGHTNING STAGES, RIVERFRONT PARK
CMA Music Festival
Greased Lightning Stages
at Riverfront Park
June 11, 2006

It's showtime at the Greased Lightning Stages at Riverfront Park.

The stage was a floating barge, and fans lined the banks of the river in front of the performers.

Just before Con went onstage, he spent a few minutes on-camera with his good friend, Bill Cody, of GAC-TV.
Two-Foot Fred emceed the event and gave a rousing introduction to Con and the band.
Taking the stage at Riverfront Park, Con is joined by:

(L-R) Junior Mercer on steel guitar, Greg English on guitar, Ken Jackson on saxophone, Randy Layne on guitar, Tony Creasman on drums, Burton Akers on bass, Tim Hunley, backing vocals, Jamie Graves on keyboards, and Ruth Akers and Kenny Hunley, backing vocals.

On the big screen - fans get a closeup.
Another big screen closeup.
Ken Jackson playing it good.
The band opened up with the swinging "Never Had It Laid On Me" and performed songs from Shoot From The Heart, including "I Can't Make It Alone" and "That Old Clock".
Play it Burton!
The crowd was really getting into the music - look, there's the " Georgia Peaches"!
Con was really enjoying himself and boogies a little for the crowd.
Ain't no harmony like family harmony! Backing vocalists Tim Hunley, Ruthie Akers, and Kenny Hunley contribute a lot to the great Con Hunley sound.
The IMMI team and the band pose in front of the bus before heading out from another great day at the CMA Music Festival!
